Classes are held every Wednesday of each month, September to May, from 7:00 to about 9:00 p.m.
Classes are mixed level (basic and beginner through experienced and advanced) and the teachers accommodate all levels of dancing experience and expertise in each Wednesday class. On the second Wednesday of each month, greater attention is given to dancing technique. The final class of the month is a social class with a set program and a snacks break. The other Wednesday classes are a mixture of technique, familiar dances, new dances and social dancing.

Members are eligible to receive a subsidy of $85 to attend one Alberta Scottish Country Dance workshop in Calgary, Edmonton, Medicine Hat or Red Deer each year.

Our three teachers have received training and certification from the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society: Fiona Miller, Level 2 (Full) Certificate in 1978; Gail Michener, Level 2 (Full) Certificate in 1990; Peggy Rodzinyak, Level 1 (Preliminary) Certificate in 2017.
